DWP TERMINATES DOCTOR’S CONTRACT OVER USE OF GENDER PRONOUNS

A doctor is having his contract with the DWP terminated due to his refusal to use neutral gender pronouns, see here.  It is cases like this one that have led me to advocate for reform of employment law, see here and laws to ensure that ideas are not stifled through commercial pressure, see here.

Apparently it was argued that his refusal to use the pronouns preferred by his patients, amounted to harassment under the Equality Act 2010.
